ANDREW OF AMERICA here,

I have been amused at the persistant and insistant postings on 
how NAMBLA "supports the gay agenda" (whatever that is) and how it
is helping us toward our goals.  One member even claimed they protested
the Vietnam Draft.

I am sure you'll get Bill Clinton and Dan Quayle's support for denouncing
the draft but PLEASE don't think you had any impact on the *realpolitik*
of that situation.

NAMBLA's support of the GAY MOVEMENT is like KKK and American Nazi support
of Ronald Reagan:

	(1)  It couldn't hurt the Klan, it couldn't help Reagan.

    	(2)  Reagan won despite them, not because of them.

	(3)  Nobody voted for Reagan because these bastards endorsed him.

	(4)  They gained no support from Reagan in turn.

NAMBLA's parasitic attachment to the gay movement is cited by every group 
opposed to civil rights for homosexuals.  And not just the Jesse Helms, Jerry
Fallwell, Patty Buchanan hatemongers.  Exodus International includes it in their
literature, the Episcopal National Convention brought it up, the New York Times
highlighted a NAMBLA banner behind Mayor David Dinkins' head in a gay rights 
parade in New York.

NAMBLA not only fuels our sworn mortal enemies, but it also gives open-minded,
moderate people pause when they hear about gay rights.  Look at ANY public
opinion poll ever taken in America about gay civil rights.  Whatever percentage
say they would approve of equal rights, employment protection, gays in the 
military, the number is ALWAYS smaller when it comes to approval of GayLesBi
adoptions, teachers, youth ministers, scout leaders.

WHY?  Because there is a link in many people's minds between
PEDOPHILIA/PEDERASTY/CHILD MOLESTATION and homosexual persons.
Period, the end.

WHY?  Because groups like NAMBLA--and I don't know of any other groups like
them--continue to self-identify as being gay.  They attach themselves to our
parades and say "We stand for gay rights."  The public sees this and says "Gay
rights stands for child molestors."  Allowing NAMBLA to ride on our coattails
only drags us down and slows our march to justice.

It is my choice NOT to associate myself with NAMBLA or its goals.  Not just
because I believe them to be unpopular (any surveys showing more than a single
digit approval rating for "no age of consent?") but because I believe them to
be indefensibly wrong!

My guess is what annoys a growing number of netters is despite its tiny
numbers, low support, denunciation by every major GayLesBi group of prominence
and credi-bility, NAMBLA advocates continue to flood the bandwidth with
their redundant, unsubstantiated propaganda over a over again.  When they
cannot prove their points logically and coherently, they flame their
opponents with catch-all labels of "ignorance, intolerance and phobias."

We have every reason to distrust pedophiles, no reason to support them.  They
are parasites who could not survive without us or get anywhere without our
work.  It is time to cut the leeches free before the drain us of anymore energy
on the net or in our progress.

I have worked with too many victims of pedophiles SOME OF WHOM WERE VICTIMIZED
BY CARD-CARRYING NAMBLA MEMBERS to any any sympathy for their rhetoric or tol-
erance for their feigned social concern.

I'll try to be more amusing in my next post.
